St. Michaels Maryland is a picturesque harbor town in the heart of the Chesapeake Bay. St. Michaels harbor and some of it’s homes date back to the mid-1600’s. It is home to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and is perfect for outdoor activities including sailing on historic Skipjacks, kayaking, golfing and bicycling. The town of St. Michaels also boasts fine dining, quaint romantic bistros and waterfront restaurants. For golfers, the new Links at Perry Cabin is Pete Dye’s final masterpiece. If shopping is your favorite sport, there is plenty of that too. St. Michaels has an eclectic range of boutique shops offering specialty foods, jewelry, clothing, home decor and art galleries. For overnight lodging, there are many small inns to choose from or treat yourself with a stay at Perry Cabin (filming location for Wedding Crashers).
